Built from real life, shaped by how people actually live and support one another.
Bonsai360 began at home. It started as a side project shared within our family, built around real lives with different schedules, responsibilities, and rhythms. We came from different careers and stages of life, yet we were all trying to stay connected while supporting those in our lives who needed steadier structure and help navigating daily responsibilities.
Coordinating life across so many moving parts was harder than it should have been. Information was scattered. Responsibilities shifted constantly. Support depended on memory, messages, and frequent check ins.
So we began building something for ourselves.
Built for our family, used every day
Each of us uses Bonsai360 differently. Some use it to organize work, school, and personal routines. Some rely on it to coordinate shared responsibilities. Some depend on it for daily structure and guidance.
It supports individual lifestyles while keeping us connected when coordination is needed. We can see what requires attention, where support makes sense, and when to step in or step back. It allows for shared clarity without constant nagging.
Within our circle are a homemaker, full time professionals, a full time graduate student, part time students balancing work, a retiree, and people who benefit from additional structure in daily life. Bonsai360 helps us function as one connected system while still living full, independent lives.
From side project to shared solution
As we shared what we were building, it became clear we were not alone. Others were navigating similar challenges. Some needed support managing their own daily lives. Others were helping care for a loved one. Many were coordinating full care circles, just like we were. What they shared was a longing for clearer systems and steady support in the middle of everyday complexity.
What began as something built for our household grew into something much larger than we ever expected. Not just for the people who use Bonsai360, but for us as well.

Meet our woodland care circle
Our demo care circle was inspired by the woodland creatures in our own garden: Gary the Groundhog, Darcy the Deer, Earl the Squirrel, Otis the Raccoon, and Francesca the Fox. They help us show how Bonsai360 can support different routines, reminders, personalities, and care needs in a simple, memorable way.

We have not managed to capture a photo of Gary in our garden yet, but our first encounter with him was hard to miss. He was eating our freshly planted Shasta daisies.

Otis lives under the dock by the lake in our backyard. He likes to open the back gate in the middle of the night, sneak onto the deck, and dig through the flower pots. This photo was taken around 2 in the morning.

Francesca is a playful juvenile fox who visits the garden. Her favorite snack appears to be butterflies.
